Largo’s best friend, Simon Ovronnaz, is being targeted by the secret services of Myanmar (previously Burma). Simon and his girlfriend are wrongly convicted of murder and imprisoned. After a very flawed trial, SImon is condemned to death and transferred to the infamous Fort Makiling.
